The time has come. This blog is officially now a podcast. Which actually is the same day as the perfect day a.k.a. Miss Congeniality Day. Total coincidence by the way, I didn’t do that on purpose.
Anyhow, be the first to listen to a brand new podcast hopefully on the rise. Doing the same thing I do on this blog which is review movies current and older. This time around, I will be joined by my friends and friends of friends to talk about movies as well. I will be doing some trailer reactions, movie reviews with and without spoilers, and all kinds of different segments.
First episode is in honor of its 30th Anniversary, Beetlejuice. This is one of my favorite movies and this is a perfect start to an ongoing podcast that will be posting a new episode every Wednesday. Make sure to like and follow your favorite social media for updates on new episodes. Currently on Soundcloud, I will be up and running on iTunes and other podcast apps shortly. Comment your thoughts on today’s premiere episode and enjoy.
One of the best trailers that I have seen this year that made me lose my breath and be completely glued to the screen is the trailer to A Quiet Place. In case you don’t remember, the teaser trailer was enough to make me fully invested to take my money on opening weekend. See below.
Already, I am interested in where they are going with this. We are not given the backstory, we don’t even know what they look like, and the whole theme was to not make a sound. When the sound finally breaks out in the trailer, I guarantee each theatre I watched it in the audience jumped. This is what I like a horror movie to convey. Let me just say that this movie delivered those scares and a little bit more.
